An unusual activity! It's fun to alternate the phases of gliding and flying and to go put your skis down in areas that are still virgin.

À PROPOS DE L'ACTIVITÉ

Speed riding is an outdoor sport combining paragliding and skiing, whose principle is to alternate the phases of flight and gliding on the snow by going as quickly as possible, equipped with a sail with a small surface area. It is thus possible to access, thanks to gravity, places that are not accessible by traditional means, and to pass in flight areas that are inaccessible on skis.
At the crossroads between paragliding and skiing, this hybrid activity is characterized by the implementation of two distinct techniques, which are the piloting of an aerial vehicle and skiing. All movements and all evolutions are carried out on the snow with more or less long phases of flight. The practice is well linked to the specific snow and mountain environment (departure on the snow, sliding, off-road, ski lifts).
