Séjours adultes 18-55 ans

The Nordic spirit is taking your time to contemplate the ever-changing spectacle of the outside world. It is also an opportunity to regain a little bit of health because basically it's good for fitness!
Forget Grandpa's cross-country skiing! The classic is, of course, quieter and more contemplative (you “drive” at your speed) but today, with the advanced equipment used in cross-country skiing, the sensations are there anyway.
But the trend, of course, is skating: an intense, sporty practice with incomparable gliding sensations.
With the wind in your hair, you run through the fir trees, you swallow the bumps, your tongue hanging, and you recover on disheveled descents!
But beware! Taming the technique cannot be improvised. Professional advice to sharpen your skills is essential. Once the gesture is understood and acquired, however, the pleasure is there! The effort - healthy fatigue - too.

Séjours colos 6-17 ans

The Nordic spirit is taking your time to contemplate the perpetual movement of nature in winter. We travel the snowy mountain, cross-country skis on, and it is all the simplicity, the authenticity of nature that we find. For the more sporty, skating, with its more pronounced gliding sensations, will be a good complement to your training program or will put you back in good physical condition. Our nordic ski tours will give you the opportunity to leave the tracks and trails to go, at your own pace, wander in the fresh snow and enjoy these great spaces!

À PROPOS DE L'ACTIVITÉ

In cross-country skiing, only the front of the foot is attached. The step is free with an ankle roll. A “green” glide par excellence, cross-country skiing is practiced on flat or hilly terrain. Everyone has their own pace in this endurance sport that requires technical finesse. Synchronization and range of movements will mobilize the entire body. A full-fledged board sport, the sensations are there. Maintaining your speed while spending the least amount of energy is an art... the descents of balance games!

Cross-country skiing includes 2 techniques:

- The classic is practiced in tracks with skis with an anti-recoil system or a retention wax. The movement is carried out with parallel skis.

- Skating is practiced with smooth and rigid skis. The movement is carried out with divergent skis (as in roller skating). This technique is practiced on groomed trails. It requires balance requirements (roller skating or ice skating).
