Important information
Level/Physical Intensity*
This formula, which is not a trek (daily minibus transfers) but a succession of walks of medium difficulty, allows us to add a “cultural” and “tourist” touch to our discovery of the natural landscapes of Ireland.
This formula, which is not a trek (daily minibus transfers) but a succession of walks of medium difficulty, allows us to add a “cultural” and “tourist” touch to our discovery of the natural landscapes of Ireland.
Because of the average difficulty of hiking and cycling, the trip is accessible to anyone practicing a minimum of physical activity.
Each hike is accessible to anyone in good health who is able to walk for an average of 2 to 4 hours, with a small backpack, on generally easy and flat terrain along the coast, more sporty on the moors. Note the frequent absence of trails.
security
Your bikes are not equipped with lighting. So don't be surprised if you can't use them in the evening.
For a long time, British and Irish people have worn a light and suitable helmet when they get on their bikes. Because of the surprises that are always possible on Irish roads, you will be very well advised to respect this tradition! (and legislation...)
If your companions sometimes remind you of these instructions, take them into account without putting your life at risk and their responsibility unnecessarily!
Electricity
220 volts, United Kingdom type sockets, an adapter is required (you can find one at the airport).
NB: you are going to participate in an “adventure” program, a travel formula that is totally different from conventional tourist circuits: the discomfort, the unexpected, the health conditions, which we may encounter, suppose everyone has a good spirit of tolerance and a taste for adventure.
Through your active and positive participation, you will contribute to the cohesion and good understanding of the group, which is a guarantee of the success of the trip.
