The catamaran is the ideal vehicle to enjoy sailing and go on an adventure to discover the coastline. During your stay
4 catamaran sessions of 2 hours and a half with instructor.
For beginners: discovery of the Hobbie Cat 16, assembly of the boat safely, learning navigation concepts (gaits, winds, sailing vocabulary), first boarding as a crew to understand how the boat works at the various positions (helmsman, crew member).

You will discover how to change sides (gybe, turn), desalinate and straighten the boat and the most fun thing: Sailing with a trapeze!
For intermediate levels: a revision session is required before perfecting your maneuvers and mastering all your gaits! You will learn to rig your boat independently, to adjust your sails according to your trajectory, to position yourself to maintain a good balance of the boat and to navigate the navigation zone according to the direction of the wind.
For the initiated: alone or in pairs, come glide and race on our fleet. You will refine your navigation by improving the propulsion of the boat for more performance and by maneuvering it independently and safely.
The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

Introduction to board sports in the heart of the Bay. Between La Grande-Motte and Espiguette Beach lies the Bay of Aigues-Mortes: a secure stretch of sea renowned for the practice of water sports! From Port-Camargue, come and discover a vast sailing area to glide on a catamaran. It allows you to fold up and shelter for small levels, as well as to take advantage of a unique space by all orientations and wind powers.
