They will help you improve your running technique and will allow you to approach this mountain discipline more easily.
In order to improve your ease on all types of paths, our team will offer you technical and practical exercises such as the use of sticks, stride analysis, effort management on long routes, adapted reinforcement... You may be offered preparation advice for possible deadlines and a personalized training plan.
All in an idyllic setting: the mountain and its wide open spaces.

The program

Reception on Sundays from 10 am.
Provision of accommodation and possibility of collecting your sports equipment.
You can participate in the activities offered by the sports village team, or take advantage of the sports facilities and the swimming pool.

Monday morning - Meet your instructor and discuss your experience, your expectations, your goals for the week. Loan of equipment if necessary

First trail course around the center of Les Arcs with little difference in altitude

Monday afternoon: Circuit training with muscle strengthening and specific training exercises (e.g. plyometrics, technical work on the stride,...)

Tuesday - Mountain hiking with advice and technical inputs (ex: Equipment management, effort management,...)
15 to 20 km with +/- 1200m approximately

Wednesday - Mountain race hike with advice and additional technical inputs or as a continuation of the previous day.

Thursday morning - You will challenge yourself on a Vertical Kilometer! Possible video feedback on your performance uphill and/or downhill to the center.

Thursday afternoon - Pilates or Yoga session then relax by the pool

Friday - It's the big outing with, the Tour du Mont-Pourri attempt, weather and group level permitting.
35 km with 2015m of D+ and 2450m of D-

Back at the center, end of course briefing with your instructor.
Return of sports equipment. Thank you for making it clean.

It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).

Haute-Tarentaise in the heart of abundant nature

Located between Vanoise and Beaufortain, come and discover incomparable peaks and trails. Haute-Tarentaise offers you a breathtaking view of the emblematic peaks of this glacial valley, but also of Val d'Aosta in Italy. This natural splendor offers you various hiking routes for all tastes and levels, ranging from easy to very difficult. During your activity, you will potentially encounter diverse and dense fauna (marmot, chamois...) and flora (Edelweiss, Yellow Génépi...).
