With the help of our instructors specialized in the activity, you prepare a soft and adapted trail program to recharge your batteries and breathe fresh air at altitude. This “half-time trail” allows you to gradually develop your technical qualities as a runner and your physical endurance abilities, while having fun.
Our instructors will be able to guide you on your sessions in order to achieve your personal goals.

The program

Day of arrival

Reception on Sundays from 10 am. Provision of accommodation and possibility of collecting your sports equipment. You can participate in the activities offered by the sports village team, or take advantage of the sports facilities and the swimming pool.

If you purchased the “Arrival the day before” option, you can show up on Saturday at the sports village between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Dinner between 19:30 and 20:30.

During your stay

Monday morning - Meet your instructor and discuss your experience, your expectations, your goals for the week.
Loan of equipment if necessary

Then departure for a first short trail near the village in order to assess the level of each one.
Monday afternoon: Circuit training with muscle strengthening and specific training exercises. Muscle strengthening workshops, plyometrics, technical work on the stride and stretching at the end of the session.

Tuesday morning - Mountain running session with advice and technical inputs
Tuesday afternoon: Mountain biking trip with a specialized instructor, allowing you to experience “cross” training, very useful in trail running.

Wednesday morning - Mountain running session with advice and technical inputs
Wednesday afternoon - Stand Up Paddle at the Bourg-St-Maurice International Nautical Base: An opportunity to work on your balance and your core while having fun.

Thursday morning - Technical trail session or 1/2 vertical kilometer depending on the group.
Thursday afternoon - Yoga

Friday - Day hiking/trail outing to end the week with a longer effort and work on your stamina.

End-of-course debriefing with your instructor.
Return of sports equipment. Thank you for making it clean.

The “Happy Summer 18-25 years” and “Adults 18-40” groups taking place in the same week will be mixed and will have the same instructors.

The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

Make sure you have the required level for this internship... if you do not have the required level, you will not be able to stay in this internship, and we will not always be able to find you a place in another group.
