The Island of Beauty reveals all its secrets

Corsica offers sailors a multitude of enchanting landscapes, with very pleasant sailing conditions. Throughout your journey, you will discover numerous secluded bays and coves ideal for relaxing and swimming in an idyllic setting. Two navigation areas are available to you: the north, from Ajaccio to Saint-Florent (Gulf of Girolata, Cargèse, the creeks of Piana, Porto, the Scandola reserve, Calvi, Ile Rousse...) or the south, from Ajaccio to the Sardinian Islands (Porticcio, Porto Pollo, Porto Pollo, Propriano, Campo Moro, Bonifacio...) or the south, from Ajaccio to the Sardinian Islands (Porticcio, Porto Pollo, Propriano, Campo Moro, Bonifacio...). Whatever your choice, Corsica by sea offers a breathtaking view of its preserved coastline, its magnificent and wild coasts.

Les Spots

Haute Corse

Located in the north of the Island of Beauty, Haute-Corse reveals striking contrasting landscapes: bright beaches, mountain villages, Bastia and the Agriates Desert.

Haute-Corse is full of exceptional natural, gastronomic and architectural treasures. Venture into the hills of Balagne dotted with typical villages, in the heart of fig and olive trees, or into the valleys and mountains of Cap Corse that flow into the sea. The coastal cities, Bastia, Saint-Florent, L'Île Rousse and Calvi also await you for a gourmet and cultural break, between traditional markets, polyphonic songs, lighthouses and Genoese towers.

Southern Corsica

If Southern Corsica is fascinating for its coastline and its enchanting panoramas, a detour to the interior of the island may well surprise you and keep you longer than expected.

The Calanques de Piana, the cliffs of Bonifacio that dominate the turquoise water, the sunny beaches of the Bay of Porto-Vecchio, so many unforgettable sites that justify the nickname Island of Beauty. But it is by moving away from the coast that you really set off to meet the Corsican soul: its typical houses, the sugar groves in the south-east of the island, the fragrant mountain trails and the flavors of Corsican cuisine.

GR20

Set off to conquer the GR20, the legendary long-distance hiking trail that crosses Corsica in the direction of height, between Conca and Calenzana.

Considered to be one of the most beautiful marked hiking trails in Europe, the GR20 takes you through breathtaking high mountain landscapes. From rocky terrain, more arid in the north, to wooded areas in the south, the GR20 is reserved for seasoned hikers who like to confront nature in all its wildest aspects. Apart from walking, the GR20 also offers magnificent sunsets, surprising positive or negative elevations, mountain lakes and ridges from where you can see the sea in the distance.

Gulf of Ajaccio

Dominated by six Genoese towers, the Gulf of Ajaccio extends from the Sanguinary Islands in the North to the peninsula of Capu Di Muru.

The Gulf of Ajaccio is ideal for nautical hikes, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding or sailing. To the north, the classified maritime area of the Sanguinars Islands serves as a refuge for numerous protected animal and plant species. The beaches of the Gulf also delight lovers of idleness who can divide their time between swimming and the sunny terraces of Corsican huts. By going deep into the hinterland, you quickly gain height to discover settings worthy of the most beautiful postcards.

Haute-Corse

Located in the Castagniccia region, Pruno offers you an idyllic setting to discover the natural and cultural treasures of the island of beauty. This charming mountain village with stone houses plunges you into the typical atmosphere of traditional Corsican villages.

Pruno is the ideal starting point for: exploring the hiking trails and discovering part of the famous GR20, one of the most beautiful treks in Europe, swimming in the crystal clear waters of the surrounding rivers and waterfalls, tasting Corsican culinary specialties in local inns, but also visiting the picturesque villages in the area.
Whether you are a fan of hiking, preserved nature or simply looking for authenticity, Pruno will seduce you with its charm and its privileged location in the heart of wild Corsica.
