After an update on the use of safety equipment as well as a check of your level of off-trail skiing, you set off to conquer the most beautiful surrounding routes: Galibier, Aiguilles d'Arves, Mont Thabor and yes nothing but that!!
Depending on the conditions, you will be offered a night in a refuge (Aiguilles d'Arves refuge, Terre Rouge refuge, Marche refuge) for an authentic evening guaranteed.
Fun and safety in a unique environment will be the common thread of the week.

The program
Day by dayDay of arrival
Reception on Sunday morning from 8:30am.
Breakfast (8:30am to 10:00am), accommodation (in the morning, you have a secure room available to leave your luggage), provision of equipment and your ski pass valid from the first day of the course.

Practical at your convenience, our teams provide you with all the information you need to get your snow holiday off to a good start: safety tips, weather information, snow conditions, trail information.
The advice of the sports village: we suggest that you arrive before 13:00 to enjoy your first day of vacation, and start sliding.
At the end of the afternoon, the UCPA team will meet you to present your stay to you: the UCPA spirit, group composition, appointment times, highlights of the week.
If you purchased the “arrival the day before” option, we welcome you between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. If you plan to arrive after 8 pm, please contact the sports village (email or phone) so that we can send you the code for the front door. You will then find an envelope with your name and instructions for finding your room. Dinner is served until 20:30.
During your stay
Typical day - 1 session in the morning + 1 other in the afternoon, or 1 day out.
Monday - Handling of safety devices (DVA), checking the technical level of each and first short hike.

Tuesday - Day trip depending on conditions, hike of about +600m in altitude, see departure for the Aiguilles d'Arves refuge
Wednesday - Ascents in the direction of Col des Aiguilles (+1000m of altitude difference) or Aiguille de l'Épaisseur (+1000m of altitude difference)
Thursday and Friday - Itineraries in the direction of Galibier or Mont Thabor with overnight stay at the Terre Rouge refuge. Height difference depending on the itinerary (from +600m to +1000m).

Domaine Valloire Galibier Thabor
A family ski area
The Valloire Galibier-Thabor ski area includes the resorts of Valmeinier and Valloire, located between the Télégraphe and Galibier passes. It offers 160 km of slopes between 1500 and 2600 m above sea level (17 green, 30 blue, 34 red, 8 black and 1 snowpark), as well as 30 ski lifts. The station also offers off-road routes in the forest. It is also a hotspot for ski touring with ambitious itineraries on the slopes of Mount Thabor.
