After refueling and safety briefing, you set sail and head for the Charente Islands aboard our liveable sailboats. The navigation program is built with your instructor, depending on the weather conditions of the moment, but also on the general level of the crew and everyone's expectations.
You sail an average of 6 to 8 hours per day, during the day only. You are sure to have a pleasant stay rich in navigation, in a sheltered and varied area. During your cruise, you discuss various navigation topics and participate in maneuvers under the supervision of a qualified instructor. The tides punctuate your cruise, from ports to anchorages, and you learn to live with them. Before or after the summer season, there is nothing like a short sail with friends to discover the boat or remember how it works for those who have already sailed.

During your stay

From D2 to D5 - Beginner, advanced or expert! Taking part in a sailing cruise means seeking to share the same passions: the sea and sailing.
...
Every day, it is one more discovery to make your boat progress, develop your technical skills in all the key positions in the smooth running of a sailboat, from the helm to the settings of the main sail, from navigation management (cartography) to the good management of supplies. Teamwork will take on its full meaning and will awaken everyone's talents. Discovering and raising awareness about the preservation of the marine environment are key points, but it is also a real human and friendly adventure where good manners and sharing are one and the same. The objective of this cruise will be to make you progress at your own pace, by giving you the permanent opportunity to take responsibility. Sailing is an itinerant activity, an adventure that, from ports to well-chosen anchorages, walks, excursions or visits during stops on land will give you unforgettable memories as well as moments of relaxation (swimming, reading...).
At the end of the course, with your instructors, you will receive a UCPA level certificate, which will allow you to consider your progress to go even further in terms of autonomy and taking responsibility on a sailboat.
