This discovery trip is a succession of star-shaped hikes, with visits to historical and cultural sites.
This discovery trip is a succession of star-shaped hikes, with visits to historical and cultural sites.
A minivan is available to the group from Edinburgh to Edinburgh. This formula allows us great flexibility and variety in the choice of hikes and allows us to walk with a light backpack (4 to 5kg).
Hikes are accessible to anyone in good health who is able to walk 4 to 6 hours per day on average on paths and trails, but also sometimes in wilder terrain (peat, scree). The altitude does not exceed 1300m and the altitude differences are generally moderate (800m maximum), even for the ascent of two or three “peaks”. However, you must be able to assume weather conditions that are sometimes (very) tonic (wind, rain...).
NB: you are going to participate in an “adventure” program, a travel formula that is totally different from conventional tourist circuits: the discomfort, the unexpected, the health conditions, which we may encounter, suppose everyone has a good spirit of tolerance and a taste for adventure.
Through your active and positive participation, you will contribute to the cohesion and good understanding of the group, which is a guarantee of the success of the trip.
