While combining technical skiing, coaching and fundamental training, this stay will allow you to accumulate kilometers of skiing in magnificent valleys that have maintained a Nordic spirit (Serre Chevalier, Névache, Névache, Vallouise, Queyras).
You can skate with ease on all types of trails. You want to refine your technique while strengthening your physical condition. Cross-country skier, why not combine vacation and training? Come and enjoy kilometers of skiing on the most beautiful slopes in the Hautes Alpes.
A week shared between the multiple sites in Briançon including 2 days and one night in the renowned Queyras Massif. For ecological reasons and energy efficiency, the UCPA center in Serre Chevalier will not open the pool this winter.

The program

Day by day

Day of arrival

Reception on the morning of Sunday from 8:30am.
Breakfast (8:30am to 10:00am), accommodation (in the morning, you have a secure room available to leave your luggage), provision of equipment and your Nordic Alp skipass valid from the first day of the course.

You can then cross the hamlet of Villeneuve on foot to reach the Nordic area from Pontillas.

The advice of the sports village: we suggest that you arrive before 13:00 to enjoy your first day of vacation, and start sliding.

In the evening, the UCPA staff gives you all the information concerning the supervised sessions that start the next day: constitution of groups, appointment times, highlights of the week.

If you purchased the “arrival the day before” option, we will welcome you between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. If you plan to arrive after 8 pm, please contact the sports village (email or phone) so that we can send you the code for the front door. You will then find an envelope with your name and instructions for finding your room. Dinner is served until 20:30.

During your stay

Monday - Serre Chevalier. In the morning, get back in shape and check your level. In the afternoon, technical session in Les Alberts (entrance to the Clarée Valley).

Tuesday - Less technique, more kilometers, day trip in the Clarée valley (Névache) or that of Vallouise.

Wednesday, morning of rest or skiing independently. In the afternoon, departure for a 100% local loop.

Thursday, departure with the minivan early.
You leave for 2 days and 1 night on the site which will offer the best conditions. To Vallouise, to Queyras or even to Italy. In order to rest and to end the week on a high note Friday, you spend the evening in a mountain lodge as close as possible to the chosen Nordic paradise.

Friday, at the end of the day, return to the center of Serre Chevalier.

The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

Last day

After a last unsupervised morning, return of the equipment on Saturday before 12 noon.
Check out of your room no later than 13:00.

In Queyras, a perfect space for Nordic skiing

Queyras offers several types of landscapes, each more striking than the next. Whatever your option for a memorable vacation, enjoy this preserved nature and the peaks and hamlets of Queyras. This massif is almost untouched by crowds, far from the big ski resorts. So an ideal place to enjoy ski touring. Discover the villages of Saint Veran, Abriès, Ceillac or Molines in Queyras, 28 peaks over 3000m (peak of Font-Sancte 3385m in Ceillac, peak of Rochebrune 3325m in Arvieux, the Bric-Froid 3302m in Abriès, the Bric-Froid 3302m in Abriès, the Sugar Loaf in Ristolas, the Pic d'Asti in Ristolas also or the Tête des Toillies), the view of the Mount Viso, the giant of the South with its 3800m.

Accommodation in Grand Serre Chevalier Sports Village

The Serre Chevalier sports village is located at the heart of the practice sites. The rooms are functional and comfortable. They have 4, 5 or 6 beds, with showers and private sinks.

Possibility to book a room for 2 at the time of registration (with supplement), only for stays of 7 days.
