Day by day

Day of arrival

Reception on Sundays from 2 pm, ideally before 5 pm.

There is no supervised activity on the day of arrival, so you can come to the camp from 2 pm (but ideally before 5 pm), to take possession of your accommodation and receive your sports equipment.
...
You can also take advantage of suggestions for independent activities, the camp is close to the start of hiking trails for example. The Embrun lake and the Serre Ponçon lake are within walking distance.

Welcome time at 6 pm.

If you purchased the “Arrival the day before” option, please show up at Lake Camp on Saturday between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

During your stay

Program given for information only. Depending on the group, the organization of activities may be different.

Monday - Advised by your instructor, after equipping and adjusting your machines, briefing on the basics of safety, you practice on a set to assess your levels and the individual needs of each one.
...
A technique and maneuverability session, fun scenarios to progress and lots of advice to understand the basic position, master your machine and learn to brake. You continue with group workshops and technical feedback on the private bike practice of the sports village in the second half of the morning. In the early afternoon you leave for the great outdoors and the first valley descent in the direction of Embrun via the French Cycling Federation (FFC) route of “la 15". An itinerary with a descending profile to make the most of the sensations that cycling provides. Pleasure, control and safety are on the agenda. In the evening, chill on the edge of the lake. Night on the UCPA camp

Tuesday - Over a half-day, discover the trails at the bottom of the valley, pedal biking and Cross Country are on the program. On the other half-day, explore a new valley descent, that of “La Fontaine”, wide open spaces with 800 meters of altitude differences and more than 15 km of wild trails. Night on the UCPA camp

Wednesday - In the morning a short bus call to go up to altitude, to go down into the valley by the “Terres Noires” route. The objective is to improve your technique on hairpin turns. Trajectory, brake dosage, and upper-body engagement, everything is reviewed. In the afternoon, we left for a descent into the valley. This time you are changing the slope to “ride” the Belvedere single track, a trail that alternates technical passages to progress, and rolling passages to get gray. Throughout the day, collective and individual technical advice. Night on the UCPA camp

Thursday - On the southern side of the Durance Valley, an enduro day to discover the most beautiful spots in the sector. Night on the UCPA camp

Friday - Program to be composed with your instructor, according to your desires and the level reached. At the end of the day, complete revision and cleaning of the mountain bikes, return of the equipment and internship report. Night on the UCPA camp

The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

Last day

Saturday - Relaxed morning, enjoy one last time the sun in Serre-Ponçon, the shores of its lake or the Embrun lake. End of the internship at 11 am.
