Day by day

Day of arrival

Day 1:
Reception at 22:00 at the Lorient SNCF station.
Meeting with the group and the instructor, transfer to the Lorient la Base site.

Overnight in port on the boat.

During your stay

Days 2 to 3:
On the program:
- Sessions of navigation in a liveable sailboat
- Hike on the island of Groix
...
- Learning the practical basics, coastal navigation techniques and discovery of the liveable sailing activity
- Development of skills in all key positions, from the smooth running of a sailboat, from the helm to sail settings, navigation (cartography)
- Organization of life on board: participation in the preparation of meals, cleaning and tidying up the boat

It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

Day 3:
Return to the port of Lorient in the middle of the afternoon

The boat is equipped with 2 to 3 double berths depending on the boat, with storage and individual reading light and the possibility of sleeping in the saloon.

Equipment Included

Our 35 to 45 foot boats are comfortable liveable sailboats. They were chosen for their technicality and their maneuverability in any circumstance/situation.

So sailing and living on board are a real pleasure.

Interior layout:
- Minimum seven beds (square or cabins) with storage
- A sanitary area with sink and bathroom
- A warm square
- An equipped kitchen
- A card table

Hygiene on board:
All ports are equipped with showers for boaters. The boats have showers to rinse off at the end of the swim.

Equipment Included

Contact the cruise team to organize an arrival directly at the pontoon. The port of Lorient, La Base is a 10-minute drive from the city center. Take the N165 and follow the direction of Lorient/Larmor Plage. At the Kéroman roundabout (with a submarine bow) take the 2nd exit and enter the “Submarine Base”.
Free parking in front of the Cité de la Voile Eric Tabarly.
Go to pontoon D. The pontoons are located 500 m from the car park on the left facing the harbor master's office (Tel. 02 97 87 00 46).

Meet in front of the UCPA boats on the Brise Clapot A pontoon located in front of the harbor master's office. You will recognize the boats thanks to the UCPA flames.

- 1 pair of non-slip closed shoes (tennis shoes type)
- 1 flashlight or headlamp

- 1 cap or 1 hat

- 1 pair of sunglasses

- 1 sea soap for the toilet
