The program
Day by dayDay of arrival
During your stay
Departing from the Anse Couleuvre car park, we will leave for a slightly hilly, dry or humid circuit depending on the period. We quickly find ourselves in the middle of the tropical forest with a few views of the Caribbean Sea. Picnic and swim in the sea before the transfer back by boat in the middle of the afternoon.
Day 3 - Trace of the Jesuits. Transfer 20 minutes, 18 km and 1200mD+
At the start of La Trace des Jésuites, we quickly find ourselves in the middle of the tropical rainforest and its lush vegetation. A guaranteed change of scenery. A short loop to the summit of Morne Jacob, culminating at around 800m above sea level, then Sainte-Cécile and back on the Trace des Jésuites.
We will hit the road again for Saint Pierre, have a picnic and swim in the sea before returning to the sports village.
Day 4 — Trace of the caravel. Transfer 1h30, 12km and 300mD+
Departure from the Spoutourne nautical center on a rocky and sunny road of about 2km before following the coast of Galion Bay with a few viewpoints on the sea side. Then a slight climb to the Morne Pavillon and direction La Caravelle (beautiful landscape) by a road that is not very busy. After cruising along the coast, return to Spoutourne.
On the way back stop at the superb beach of Tartane for a moment of relaxation and swimming.
Day 5 - Mount Pelée, the highest point in Martinique. Transfer 30 minutes. 20km and 1250mD+
Departure from Bourg du Prêcheur. After 1.5 km of road, we branch off to the left on an easy path that in a short time will be transformed into a D+ (Martineau trail). The rest of the route up to Mount Pelée includes the tour of the Caldera to the edge of the crater at the 2nd refuge and depending on the weather, possibility or not of climbing the peaks of 1902 and 1929. Return in D- to the UCPA center by crossing the Depaz Cannes fields. Possibility of picnicking on the banks of the Pelée or return to the seaside in St Pierre or to Carbet beach.
Return to the sports village in the middle of the afternoon.
Day 6- Trace of the Caps
Transfer 1 hour 30 minutes. 17km and 150mD+
Last day of trail to discover the most beautiful beaches in the south of Martinique, you leave from Les Salines for a sandy and sunny outing by crossing the village of Sainte Anne to discover the Bay of Marin and the savannah of Petrifications. Relaxing moments at the end of the day in the crystal clear waters of Les Salines beach.
Day 7 - Free day: Relax in the sports village or set off to discover the island.
As a paid option that can be booked on the UCPA.com site, we offer you a day excursion south of Martinique: you cross Martinique to the south with breaks at remarkable viewpoints in the heart of the island. You head to Fort-de-France and visit its traditional covered market. You continue your discovery to Sainte-Luce to have lunch with your feet in the sand in a restaurant on the beach, you then enjoy swimming time for a relaxing afternoon.
The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

Charm and authenticity of North Martinique
Visit the natural and wild north of Martinique! Dominated by the famous Mount Pelée, the northern region differs from the south: magnificent hiking trails with waterfalls in the heart of the tropical forest, numerous black sand coves that invite you to relax and a luxuriant nature with flower gardens and hummingbirds. At the end of the day the sun sets in the Caribbean Sea and offers a breathtaking color show. On hiking trails on the water or under water, the north of Martinique offers a diversity of landscapes and activities!

Saint Pierre Sports Village
Between an exotic garden and a swimming pool facing the Caribbean, the sports village of Saint-Pierre welcomes you in an environment that exudes the sweetness of life.
Divers have quick access to the diving base and to the UCPA pontoon located at the foot of the accommodation.
For discovery, hiking and trail activities, you take advantage of the central position of Saint-Pierre to discover the north of the Island.
Rooms for 2 people, with private shower and toilet.
All rooms are equipped with air fans.

Some Trails have river crossings, so do not hesitate to bring 2 pairs of shoes, provide at least 1.5 liters of water for sports sessions.
First aid kit and pharmacy
Each guide, guide or instructor has a first aid kit. As its name suggests, its function is to be used in case of significant problems that have arisen during the release or the raid. This kit cannot be the group's pharmacy for the small common problems inherent to the activity or the constraints of travel.
We therefore invite you to buy from a personal pharmacy.

- What to prevent and protect against blisters: “Micropore” type dressing.
- What to treat blisters: “2nd skin” or “Compeed” bandages

- Enough to clean small wounds: single-use ampoules of physiological saline/antiseptic/eye drops/eosin/a few compresses and 1 roll of plaster.
- A few paracetamol tablets
- a pack of Kleenex, small scissors or a small knife
- a ticket of €20.00
- 1 survival blanket
Sun protection for the skin and lips.- To relieve intestinal problems following changes in diet.- To relieve headaches and aches .- To relieve insect bites.
In all cases, ask your doctor and pharmacist for advice and think that you will have to go to your pharmacy, so only bring the minimum necessary.

For customers who booked their flight with UCPA, bus transfer is included (1h30).
For customers who come by their own means: you can benefit from the transfer organized by the UCPA, provided you request it at the sports village in advance (by email) and pay the amount of this transfer on site (40 euros each way and return).
For a taxi trip between the airport and the UCPA, count around 120 euros to be paid most often in cash (checks are difficult to accept).
At the airport, it is possible to rent a car.
