During your stay
While discovering the wonders of Greece, you learn to sail, supervised by an experienced instructor. You thus participate in the maneuvers on board by alternating on the different positions (transfers, gybes, hoisting and adjusting the sails, meteorology, participating in the navigation program and stopovers).
Life on board is organized on a daily basis, so you all participate in preparing meals, cleaning and tidying up the boat together.
Beginners discover the activity of liveable sailing and learn the practical basics and techniques of coastal navigation. You sail an average of 6 to 8 hours per day (depending on weather conditions), during the day only.
Sailing times are punctuated by shore visits, hikes, moments of relaxation and swimming. Among the highlights, you can visit some islands of the Cyclades such as Poros, Hydra or Spetses. You can also visit some archaeological sites, emblematic of Greece such as the Acropolis and the Parthenon. You let yourself be carried away by the Meltem, the summer wind that rocks the Aegean Sea, and you offer yourself a few stops on these islands with a rich and multiple culture.
In the evening, you can dine on deck while enjoying the sunset or discover the local gastronomy in one of the many taverns.
The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment.
In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.
