The program
Day by dayDay of arrival
Reception on Sundays between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Installation and visit of the sports village. Meeting with the animators and first games.
In case of later arrival, we ask customers to notify the sports village.
During your stay
In the morning, first wingfoil session: a mesmerizing fusion between surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, which offers a unique aerial gliding experience thanks to the foil, propelled by a wing carried over the water.
Day 3:
In the morning, another wingfoil session. The use of wing traction is more serene and allows better control of its power.
In the afternoon, windsurfing session (windsurfing). For beginners: discovery of specially adapted boards. For the more experienced: resumption of sensations by alternating tack turns and gybes.
Day 4:
After a well-deserved good sleep, breakfast then participation in the activities organized on the camp.
In the afternoon, wingfoil session: the takeoffs are more stable, then learning more advanced maneuvering techniques.
Day 5:
In the morning, wingfoil session.
In the afternoon, windsurfing session. Beginners will learn to feel the force of the wind while handling the sail. The aim is to find the right position of the body, the mast and the sail to seek a smooth and constant movement.
For the more experienced, you will improve your technique thanks to the individualized advice of your instructor. Today it is the waterstart and beachstart technique on the program.
Day 6:
In the morning, last catamaran session: use of the trapeze.
In the afternoon, play balance and strengthen your arms during a stand-up paddle session.
Last day
Luggage preparation and room storage.
Lunch.
End of the stay on Saturday between 10 am and 12 pm.
The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s). It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

Espiguette Beach
A wild beach and a famous kitesurfing spot
The huge beach of Espiguette is one of the wildest beaches on the coast. Classified Natura 2000, it offers a typical environment of the Camargue and a protected natural area. It is also a major kitesurfing spot with an orientation favorable to the dominant winds: the Tramontane, the Mistral and the Marin. With its good wind statistics, regular sunshine, a very mild climate and its very large space, Espiguette beach is ideal for all levels of kitesurfing from March to October.

From Nîmes, highway exit Gallargues, direction Le Grau du Roi/ Port-Camargue (left bank) by the D979, then follow the sign “Capitainerie”
From Montpellier, highway A709 exit Montpellier Est, direction Les Plages by the D66, then La Grande Motte/Le Grau du Roi by the D62 “Route de la Petite Camargue”, then follow the sign “Capitainerie”.
You are coming by train
The fastest: arrival by TGV at Nîmes station to take the TER to Grau du Roi (TER traffic is restricted on Sundays, allow one hour of travel). https://www.ter.sncf.com/occitanie
If you arrive in Montpellier Saint Roch: take tram 1 direction Odysseum to Station Place de France, then take bus line 606 stop Les Ecoles au Grau du Roi. Attention, on Sundays only 4 buses serve Grau du Roi: departures at 09:30am, 11:30am, 4:30pm and 6:30pm, allow one hour by bus.

When you arrive at Grau du Roi you can walk to the UCPA sports village along the seafront (about 30 minutes) or take a taxi (about 10 minutes). Taxi du Boucanet: 04 66 53 08 08
During school holidays: a shuttle bus is chartered by the UCPA on Sundays between Nîmes station and the center and on Saturday for the return to the station. Contact the sports village to find out the schedule and booking procedures (10 euros one way, 10 euros the return).
For adult stays, contact the sports village directly to find out if a shuttle is in place.
