Do you need to take a break and reconnect with yourself? In a magical setting, come and discover Yoga or deepen your practice at the pace of relaxation, discovery and emotions to share.
Throughout the week, you alternate Yoga sessions and discovery activities. Through different forms of Yoga (Vinyasa, Hatha, Hatha, Yin, Ashtanga) and progressively, you explore postures, body alignment, and work on concentration and letting go. You walk, meeting the fauna and flora, the most beautiful trails in the Chamonix Valley with a view of the Mont-Blanc massif.
Chamonix was not built in a day! Your guide will give you a short tour of the city to tell you the story and understand the energy that emanates from it through its heritage. A little bit of adrenaline to complete the week? It's the treetop adventure session. A safe activity to surpass yourself. (several course difficulties possible). And to finish on a high note, a moment of pure relaxation in a spa in the valley. One-week stay: 5 Yoga sessions, 4 hiking sessions (including 1 on your own), a tree-climbing course and an entrance to the SPA.

The program

Day of arrival

Reception on Sundays from 10 am, ideally before 5 pm.

There is no supervised activity on the day of arrival, so you can arrive quietly from 2 pm (but ideally before 5 pm), to take possession of your accommodation.

You can also take advantage of suggestions for independent activities (the sports village is close to the start of hiking trails for example), the swimming pool and the village of Argentière.

Welcome time at 6 p.m.

Access to the sports village is closed from 9 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and from 7 pm on other days.
If you arrive after these hours, please ask for the code in advance by email at: argentiere@ucpa.asso.fr

If you purchased the “Arrival the day before” option, please come to the Argentière sports village on Saturday between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

During your stay

The order of hikes and yoga sessions can be changed.

Monday morning - Morning- Discover Chamonix with the guide: history of the city, visit the crystal museum with a crystal-maker

Afternoon- Vinyasa yoga on center: sequence of postures related to breathing in fluid series adapted to the needs of everyone.
Course flow: dynamic postural flow with emphasis on awareness of the link between movement and breath. Discover Asanas, then adjustments and corrections.
This yoga helps you connect postures with breathing, improve stamina, muscle tone and flexibility.

Tuesday morning - Morning- Hatha yoga on center: classical yoga with a work on breath and body awareness.
Course flow: sun greetings and static postures with an emphasis on alignment and breath. Discovery of Asanas (postures) then adjustments and corrections. This yoga helps you to understand postures and breathing, to strengthen, to relax, to concentrate.
Afternoon - tree climbing.

Wednesday - Morning - Self-guided tour of the Aiguille du Midi on the advice of your guide
Afternoon- Yin yoga at the center: meditative yoga: access to letting go, introspection and awareness.
Course schedule: 5 minutes sitting in each posture, in a meditative observation.
This yoga helps you deepen body awareness, connect, and soften deep tissue.

Thursday morning - Day hike
Morning- Hiking, mindfulness walking, forest therapy, barefoot, meditation and yoga classes
Afternoon - continuation of the hike with the guide.

Friday morning - Morning- Ashtanga yoga on center
Ashtanga yoga is a form of Hatha yoga in which postures are accompanied by stretching to give energy and strength to the body.
Afternoon - Spa: facial yoga, self-massage, relaxation, meditation.

The course of this program is given for information purposes only.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

Last day

Saturday - Casual morning. Possibility to visit the chalet in the Aiguilles Rouges reserve, or visit Chamonix (independently, free bus).
