Why choose UCPA transport?
- A transparent and unsurprising all-inclusive price*
- A “zero constraint” trip: we take care of everything!
- Carriers selected by UCPA for their reliability and quality of services
Departures close to home
For our stays in mainland France, we offer you two secure modes of transport, which are the bus or the train, depending on the departure city you have chosen.
During school holidays, UCPA offers transport from many major cities in France, Belgium and Luxembourg (available depending on stays and departure dates), to allow you to choose the city closest to your home.
For our stays in Corsica, the Antilles or internationally, we ensure departures by plane from Paris to all our destinations. On some destinations, we also offer departures from Lyon, Marseille, Marseille, Toulouse, Toulouse, Strasbourg and Nantes by direct flight or pre and post delivery transiting through Paris. Depending on the city of departure and the final destination, some pre and post deliveries may be offered by train (TGV Air agreement between the airlines and the SNCF
).>> For more information on the transport offer in our FAQ
For sustainable and respectful mobility
Recognizing that our stays are not without an impact on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through transport, UCPA acts to promote new forms of mobility.
All UCPA sports villages in France are easily accessible by train or bus, in summer and winter. Taking public transport has multiple advantages, including reducing your carbon footprint; for example, according to ADEME, 11 g of CO2/km per passenger for the train compared to 86 g of CO2/km for a private car or 145 g of CO2/km for the
plane. After a reservation, the UCPA allows the connection of adult participants in the same stay. They can thus organize the sharing of a vehicle to their UCPA destination (carpooling) and thus limit pollution and CO2 emissions
.The fleet of vehicles used by UCPA to transport employees or customers now includes vehicles using alternative energies.
Flexible schedules
Whatever the mode of transport, early or late departures may occur, which will allow participants to enjoy the activities as soon as they arrive at the place of stay.
By car, night transport can be preferred for long trips so that it seems shorter to passengers, adults or children, but also to benefit from more fluid traffic.
A peaceful start
You will receive your
travel
log 8 to 20 days before departure, depending on the mode of transport chosen (subject to the communication of information by the transport companies and payment of the balance of the stay). It specifies:- transport schedules,
- departure and arrival meeting places and transfer methods, coupons and
- exchange vouchers for all passengers on file, to be divided and presented to the carrier or to the UCPA team at the station and/or upon arrival on
This travel log is sent either by email or by post (same type of shipment as that used for your registration confirmation).
For trips abroad, in order to guarantee your departure or that of your child, depending on your destination, it may be imperative to complete, at the latest 30 days before departure, the “Travel Formalities” form (APIS).
An appointment is scheduled in advance of the departure time at the station, in order to check all the formalities related to the trip and possibly give you your tickets. At the airport, except for some departures (provincial departures, small groups), our assistance service welcomes you to facilitate your departure or that of your child.

Safe modes of transport
The bus
Bus trips are made by Grand Tourisme coach, usually with less than 60 seats, with reclining seats, video and toilets on board
.In order to optimize the filling of buses and thus guarantee you the best price, UCPA bus transport is a network of regular lines structured around departure or connection platforms in Paris or in the region (Chambéry, Mérignac, etc.) Passengers may have to change buses during the trip via one or more connecting
platforms. On certain traffic routes and as soon as the number of passengers allows it, direct trips are planned for more comfort.
The train
Partner of SNCF, UCPA makes advance reservations directly and issues train tickets for trips to places of stay
.The plane
The airlines with which UCPA collaborates are recognized and approved by the competent civil aeronautical authorities. They have been selected on the basis of quality and safety criteria by our team of specialists.
As a matterof priority, the UCPA selects the regular airlines offering the best quality/price ratio. Depending on the company chosen, you may have to make a stopover or a transit.
In some destinations, in order to offer you direct flights at the best price, UCPA engages with French and European charter or low-cost companies.
FOR ADULTS: FOR A “ZERO CONSTRAINT” VACATION,
The UCPA can take care of your transport to the place of your stay: transport by plane, train or bus, trips to/from your departure city, and transfer to and from the place of your stay.
Your trip by train or bus
The UCPA offers you a range of transport options to reach your sports village in France from Paris or from a selection of major cities, available during school vacations (depending on stays and departure dates). Outside these periods, you can join the sports village by organizing your carpooling on the UCPA Community
.In order to guarantee a safe trip and optimized organization, it is no longer possible to book UCPA transport by train or bus 10 to 20 days before departure, depending on the mode chosen and the city of departure.
Please note that your SNCF discount cards cannot be used for UCPA transport.

Your plane trip
The package for your all-inclusive stay abroad includes the return flight ticket, a checked bag, airport taxes (except for exceptions specified on the program page) and of course the airport/place of stay connections, both outgoing and returning.
Remember to anticipate your reservation (more than 30 days before your departure) to benefit from negotiated prices with our partner airlines, and thus avoid any possible supplement. Beyond the negotiated quota, UCPA buys seats “on demand”, at rates, depending on market supply, which may be higher than our initial offer (the companies manage the price of seats according to supply and demand)
.Carpooling: Think about it!
Join the UCPA Community, by creating your account... and carpool!
After booking your stay, you will have access to the private group of participants who leave for UCPA at the time and at the same place as you. If you want to go by car to the UCPA sports village, to the airport or departure station, by sharing your travel expenses, you can thus organize your carpooling there
.Find the directions to go to sports villages in France directly on the sheets of our programs (section About the stay).
Parking spaces (free or paid) are available in or near most UCPA destinations.

This information is mandatory for each participant in the application and must be sent to UCPA

For the colos: For your peace of mind!
Whether by bus, train or plane, the ambition of UCPA is to make children travel to their vacation spot, in the best conditions of comfort and safety, and to ensure their departure with complete peace of mind.
- How is that going?
UCPA transport for colos
For stays aged 6-17, UCPA guides welcome your children at the meeting point and take care of them throughout the trip to the place of stay. For “pure action” stays (some stays 16 years and over), whose concept is based on the maturity of the young person and their autonomy, the trip is done without support.
UCPA transport is designed to allow you to choose a departure city closest to your home. However, the proposals for bus and/or train transport departing from a departure city are likely to vary according to stays and/or departure dates. These adjustments make it possible to choose, for each stay, the most appropriate mode of transport at the best price.
In order to guarantee a safe trip and optimized organization, it is no longer possible to book UCPA transport by train or bus 10 to 20 days before departure, depending on the mode chosen and the city of departure.
By bus, the journey is planned from the station of departure to the place of stay (direct trip or via a connecting platform). By train or plane, the trip is made to the station or airport near the sports village, and the last kilometers by bus (or boat).
Early or late departures and night trips (for the bus) may be preferred, in order to make your child's journey more comfortable and secure, at the best price.
An interministerial decree regulates bus transport over one or more summer weekends; the UCPA will then adapt its timetables in accordance with the legislation.
