Sport' Camp/
This one-week stay in Les Orres is intended for 9-11 year olds from an initiated level (skiers who have already taken ski lessons/have already done a week of skiing) to an expert level.
On the program: 9 ski sessions + snow games including the construction of a snowman (depending on arrival time). An ideal stay for children who want to improve their skiing skills and enjoy the slopes of the Southern Alps all day long.

Day by day

Day of arrival

Day 1:
Reception on Sundays between 8:30am and 12 pm.
Installation in the rooms, distribution of equipment, constitution of groups...

In the afternoon, first skiing session.

If you have subscribed to the “arrival the day before” option: welcome on Saturday between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. If you arrive outside these hours, contact the sports village (email or phone).

During your stay

Day 2:
In the morning and in the afternoon, first skiing sessions. Meeting with the instructor and the whole group. Group fun warm-up, then checking the levels.

At the end of the afternoon, snack and time to discuss the week's program with the instructor.
In the evening, lively vigil.

Day 3:
In the morning and in the afternoon, ski sessions. Implementation of the instructor's advice. Improvement of balance and sensations. Observation of animal tracks (chamois, ibex, marmot...).
In the evening, lively vigil.

Day 4:
In the morning, rest.
In the afternoon, a fun and dynamic ski session depending on the level and conditions: giant slalom, synchronized skiing, pair skiing, snowpark on green bumps, video...
In the evening, lively vigil.

Day 5:
In the morning and in the afternoon, ski sessions. Improvement of technical gestures: snowplough turns for the less experienced, carving turns for the experienced and the experts.

Day 6:
Day ski trip.
At the end of the afternoon, delivery of the level log and summary of the week.
In the evening, lively vigil.

Last day

Day 7:
Preparing luggage and tidying up the rooms, then lunch at the sports village.
End of the stay on Saturday at 2 pm.

Les Orres

A sports area for all levels

Above Lake Serre-Ponçon, the Les Orres ski area extends into the heart of the Southern Alps, with a unique view of the Ecrins National Park and the Parpaillon massif. It culminates at an altitude of 2720 m. The 100 kilometers of slopes are served by 19 ski lifts. In the larch forests, off-road skiing, cross-country skiing and biathlon are also to be discovered.

- A photocopy of the CMU law certificate detailing the beneficiaries (if you benefit from Universal Health Coverage)
- The photocopy of the vaccines in the health book

In the absence of these documents, your child will not be able to be welcomed during the stay.

Stay dedicated to children from beginner to expert level:
- Beginner level: able to evolve on green or blue slopes (without ice or bumps) by controlling their speed and of combining turns with a snowplough with a parallel ski return at the end of the turn.

- Mastery level: able to evolve with ease on blue and red slopes (easy and well-groomed), to combine parallel ski turns.
- Confirmed level: able to evolve with ease on red slopes, to keep your balance on more rugged terrain (bumps, ice, powder) and to combine small swash-type turns.
- Expert level: able to evolve with ease on black tracks (big curves or slopers) and to adapt their technical skills in all situations (steep slopes, bumps, off-road).

The UCPA Ski School allows children and adolescents to learn and improve their skills in skiing or snowboarding. Our teams adapt to the needs of each child, form small groups at a homogeneous level and give individualized advice to progress in the best conditions.
