A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE TRIP

Pure action/Indépendance
This one-week stay designed for young people aged 16 and 17 allows you to discover the sensations of weightlessness and to explore the riches of the underwater world during scuba diving. The “pure action” concept is based on the maturity of 16-17 year olds and allows them to evolve independently during different moments of life: activities, transport... The entertainment team plays a supporting and guiding role during the stay in daily life. 16-17 year olds are thus granted more freedom than in a traditional colony.
On the program: 9 sessions and dives with supervised bottles + passage of level 1 + 1 exploration dive. To come and learn to dive in Niolon is to learn how to dive in a reference and renowned center for diving education. Located in the heart of the Côte Bleue Natural Park, the sports village benefits from a privileged location and isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city.
An individualized pedagogical approach adapted to your personal progress, based on sensations and autonomy. Quickly you will have the sensations of weightlessness, a real particularity of the activity. The instructors will know how to make you feel confident so that you can control your balance and breathing. Important: - Knowing how to swim is essential. - A medical certificate of “no contraindication to the practice of scuba diving” issued by a general practitioner (a federal FFESSM doctor or a graduate in underwater medicine or sports doctor is recommended) is mandatory and must be presented upon arrival at the sports village (validity: 1 year). - If you are traveling by plane, allow 24 hours between your last dive and takeoff. - This program mixes young people aged 16-17 with adults. - Provide a check for 69 euros for the license, the diploma card and the dive log if level crossing.

Day of arrival

Day 1:
Reception on Sundays from 2 p.m. and until 6 p.m. (pay attention to the TER timetables between Marseille and Niolon).
...
Distribution of diving equipment and fittings to start the sessions the next morning.
Information meeting at the end of the day.

For any arrival after 6 p.m., please contact reception.

During your stay

The first session allows you to understand equipment, balance, propulsion and movement. It is a session that takes place mainly on the surface and allows you to acquire a lot of automation by following the advice of your instructor.

...
During your second session, you will complete your first immersion during which you will become aware of the first sensations of balance and weightlessness. The first sessions will take place on board, which makes it possible to individualize the progression without having to worry about boat schedules or trips in the open sea.

In addition, you will first dive alone with the instructor and then in pairs. The following sessions will contain a number of small exercises that are simple to do in order to quickly feel safe. All the dives will be complemented by a time of exploration in order to enjoy the underwater landscape of the blue coast. That's when the group will dive by 4 to increase the exploration dive time.

After each session, at the end of the day, you will meet with your instructor for a group debriefing that will allow you to take stock of your progress. The further you go in the week the more enjoyable the dives will be and the more and more exploration will be important. Boat trips will only increase your pleasure and allow you to discover diving in the open sea and some sites on the blue coast.

Last day

Day 7:
Luggage and room storage in the morning.
End of the course on Saturday at 2 pm.

...
The course of this program is indicative. It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment.
