Meeting with the instructors. Learning or revising the basics and safety rules.

In the evening, a lively evening at sunset on the beach by the ocean: music, marshmallows grilled under the stars, games like “Koh Lanta” or debates, swimming...

Quiet day.
Chilling on the surf camp and on the beach. Great games. Possibility of swimming in the ocean.
In the evening, lively vigil.

Days 5 and 12:
In the morning and in the afternoon, surfing sessions with personalized advice from the instructors on the choice of boards and trajectories.

Days 6 and 13:
In the morning and in the afternoon, surfing sessions.
Review of the week with the surf instructor and delivery of the “Surfing Book” (booklet created by UCPA to monitor your progress and autonomy in surfing).

Quiet day. Chilling on the surf camp and on the beach.

Day 14:
Luggage preparation and camp storage.
End of the stay on Saturday between 10 am and 1 pm.

The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants. Sports sessions can take place either in the morning or in the afternoon.

The spot recommended by local surfers

Located in the Médoc, in Gironde, the city of Carcans is a peaceful seaside resort, which benefits from both a beach on the ocean and the banks of one of the largest natural lakes in France. Carcans Nord beach has a lot of charm. It is located a few minutes' walk from the surf camp and is highly recommended by local surfers.

The sleeping area:
4-seater cabin tents of 15 m2 and 2.5 m high, specially made for UCPA. Tents renewed regularly and completely closed, ensuring watertightness and living comfort.

The spot:
Space to relax after sports, including a chill zone, secure cabinets to store your phone and disconnect safely, table football and a ping pong table.

The UCPA surf school:
Space with surfboards and/or neoprene suits to equip yourself for surfing sessions, as well as a screen to provide the coach's tips.
