During your stay
Group formed on the basis of your affinities, your expectations and your technical level.
For the unsupervised half-day, you are free to ride with your friends or alone, enjoy the resort, rest between two intense skiing sessions...
Technical Level - Beginner
You have already skated for 1 to 3 weeks. You control your speed on easy tracks. You chain turns on gentle slopes and you control the “dead leaf” type of skid on more sustained tracks.
This week, your instructor will give you all the tips to be comfortable on all the blue runs and some red runs at moderate speed. You are therefore working on your commitment to the track, your stability on long shuss (avoid edge mistakes), and the mastery of your snowboard to integrate the “Mastery” groups of riders over a future week.
Technical level - Mastery
You have acquired a “Mastery” level because you evolve on the blue slopes and on the red slopes at a moderate speed. You don't have a perfect handle on long shuss.
This week, your instructor will develop your ability to evolve with ease on all tracks, and especially on direct tracks to master shuss (avoid edge faults) and long flats (avoid losing speed and therefore walking). You will also start the switch a bit (slide in reverse). This ease with these essential techniques will allow you to be in “Confirmed” groups for your future snowboarding weeks.
Technical level - Confirmed
You have acquired a “confirmed” level because you evolve with ease on all slopes, and you master the long courses and crossings that allow you to access everywhere in the entire ski area.
The objective of your week will now be to be comfortable on all snow and all slopes (even if you will have to continue sliding to make this ease more fluid), including to touch the “powder” and why not a bit of freestyle to switch to a next week of vacation to an “Expert” level and why not to an Off-Piste stay.
Technical Level - Expert
You are an Expert because your experience allows you to adapt your technique according to the terrain. You know how to ride on all snow conditions and all over the area.
This week, enjoy yourself with your instructor who will refine your technique even more, and according to the wishes of the group and the climatic and terrain conditions, will make you discover a nice off-track and the most beautiful runs and spots in the entire ski area.
Last day
You will have returned your equipment and vacated your room beforehand.
