Monday - From the Valley of the Masks to the Nice of the Southern Alps.
Monday - From the Valley of the Masks to the Nice of the Southern Alps.
After getting equipped with the UCPA technical team, here is the group ready! A short bus ride to Mont Dauphin and off we go for the start of the trip! You start the stay with valuable technical and safety advice in order to better understand the environment. From then on, you launch your raft, still crewed, on the lower Guil to slide on the river, and flow into the Durance in the direction of Embrun. The objective today is to discover and have fun on one of the most famous rivers in Europe, in class III. Full of sensations in a group. In the evening, return to camp to recover from his emotions.
Tuesday - — A departure for the white water stadium of Argentière-la-Bessée or that of Saint Clément sur Durance for a day of technical work. On the program: safety, ease on the water, improvement...
Wednesday - Direction the Ubaye Valley and its river of the same name. From Mediterranean accents to the estuary on Lake Serre-Ponçon with jumping, swimming, sailing, on an ultra-fun, sunny itinerary, always guided by your instructor guaranteeing safety and your progress. You are also looking to better understand the river, the pitfalls to avoid, the best trajectories, the currents, the “washing machines”... In other words, a real introduction to autonomy in the river.
Thursday - The journey along the river continues! Today's stage takes us to the north of the Hautes Alpes department. Winter snow was important there. Now it's hot, the snow is melting, the river is getting bigger, so is our pleasure. La Guisane is on the program!
Friday - Last day, last river, the Guil, passage of waves and rapids, parade and canyon follow one another. The sensation of gliding is then enormous, as is that of speed, on a little-known river but worth a detour!
The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

SPOT
Guisane, Guil and Durance rivers
3 rivers to practice water sports
Come and discover three breathtaking wild rivers during your walks. The Durance, a hotspot for white water, is the most important river in Provence. The second tributary after the Saône, it extends over more than 320 km and flows into the Rhône. The Guisane, itself a tributary of the Durance, has its source at the Col de Lautaret on the north side of the Combeynot Massif. The Guil, for its part, is a torrential river located in the Hautes-Alpes department. This aquatic combination is a perfect spot for water sports and hikes. Relaxation, sports and fun are on the program.
Hosting
Accommodation in Embrun Sports Village
Cabanon-type tents for 4 people.
