Enjoy the unique environment of the Mont Blanc Valley descents. With large spaces on the border of Switzerland and Italy, famous corridors, skiing in the forest, you will appreciate the difference in altitude of the slopes at the foot of the highest massif in the Alps.
Throughout the days, the instructor takes you on the slopes at the best time and gives you advice to help you progress in all conditions. You learn to evolve off the slopes and to use safety equipment to enjoy the slopes around Chamonix.

For 4.5 days of supervision, your instructor accompanies you and helps you to progress in all serenity in your practice of off-trail skiing.Do you have backcountry skiing experience, do you ski in powder snow and have you already done some “trails”? The program

Reception on Sunday morning from 8:30am.
Breakfast, accommodation (you have a room to leave your luggage available), provision of equipment and your ski pass valid from the first day of the course.

Autonomous skiing in the Mont Blanc Valley ski area.
The advice of the sports village: we suggest that you arrive before 13:00 to enjoy your first day of vacation and start sliding.
In the evening, the UCPA staff gives you all the information concerning the supervised sessions that start the next day: constitution of groups, appointment times, highlights of the week.
If you purchased the “arrival the day before” option, we welcome you between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. If you plan to arrive after 8 pm, please contact the sports village (email or phone) so that we can send you the code for the front door. You will then find an envelope with your name and directions to find your room. Dinner is served until 20:30.

During your stay
Monday - Checking the level of participants on the track and on the edge of the track. Technical upgrade. Training in the use of safety equipment.
Tuesday - Local track and off-road. Technical improvement. Notions of group travel off-road. Search for D.V.A.
Wednesday - Morning not supervised. You can take the opportunity to ski at your own pace, stroll around Chamonix, visit the Mer de Glace, the Aiguille du Midi, relax... Afternoon coaching: technique and individual advice.
Thursday and Friday - Realization of larger itineraries according to the technical level of the group and the conditions of the moment. Improvement and technical adaptation to different terrain (skiing in the forest, steeper slope,...) and discovery of the mountain environment (transformation of the snow, choice of routes and orientations).

Chamonix Valley ski area
A ski area at the foot of Mont Blanc
Unlike ski areas, Chamonix is a high-altitude town surrounded by several ski areas (Tour/Vallorcine, Lognan/Les Grands Montets, La Flegère/Le Brévent). They allow for varied skiing thanks to the omnipresence of the glaciers and Mont Blanc. The valley offers 160 km of trails for all levels culminating at an altitude of 3800 m. They are served by 63 ski lifts, as well as an important off-road area.
