SPOT

Chamonix and Vallée Blanche ski area

A ski area at the foot of Mont Blanc, an exceptional valley

Far from the big ski areas, Chamonix is a small mountain town surrounded by several ski areas - Tour/Vallorcine, Lognan/Les Grands Montets, La Flegère/Le Brévent - which allow for varied skiing thanks to the omnipresence of glaciers and Mont Blanc. 160 kilometers of slopes for all levels culminating at an altitude of 3800 m, 63 ski lifts and an incredible off-road area make up the Chamonix Valley, which welcomes skiers from all walks of life every year on its main slopes, between its forests and in wild terrain. The pinnacle of this mythical place, the White Valley and its thousand-year-old glaciers, you are in the high mountains. Surrounded by the Aiguilles de Chamonix (du Midi, Verte, des Drus...) and the majestic Mont Blanc, this valley descends to Chamonix by a large glacial waterfall, a remnant of the history of our Earth. It is a world to be discovered and one that must be “experienced” to apprehend all its majesty.
