Travelling with UCPA?
You leave from Paris on Wednesday with a day flight. You arrive in Havana in the late afternoon then direction Guajimico.
Schedule subject to change.
Currently the flights arrive at the end of the day in Havana, in order to gain comfort and safety, we plan a first night near the airport and thus avoid a night trip by bus. The departure to Guajimico took place the next morning.
During your stay
Full day in the Cuban mountain ranges to discover new landscapes and swim in waterfalls.
Day 3 - Walk in the pampas and visit the village of Camilo Cienfuegos
Morning: Walk in the village of Camilo Cienfuegos, characteristic of Cuba.
Afternoon: Walk through the pampas to the cove of Playa Castro
Dinner and overnight stay at the Guajimico accommodation
Day 4 - Cienfuegos Tour
Morning: visit to the Guajimico caves
Afternoon: visit the city of Cienfuegos, a city founded by the French Jean Louis Laurent de Couet. It is the third largest city in Cuba after Havana and Santiago and is a testament to Cuba's colonial past. Then stroll on the Punta Gorda peninsula and visit the Palacio del Valle.
Dinner takes place either in the heart of bustling Cienfuego or in Guajimico. Then back to Guajimico for a last night on site.
Day 5- Discover Trinidad
Morning: free.
Afternoon: departure for Trinidad, the former colonial city, classified as a humanitarian heritage by UNESCO. Time has touched one of the most beautiful cities in Cuba. Trinidad is also a source of inspiration for naive Cuban painters, and there are many galleries that exhibit their creations. To the sound of Salsa music on every street corner, you will stroll to wild tunes.
You will spend dinner and the evening in Trinidad, in a typical salsa atmosphere.

J6: - Take off
Full day at sea to reach Cayo off the coast of Trinidad.
On the program: snorkeling and picnicking on the beach.

J7 - Havana
Departure for Havana.
Arrival in Havana is expected in the middle of the afternoon.
Dinner at the restaurant and free evening to discover the city of Havana.
Possibility to continue the evening in a salsa atmosphere with the Havanese.
J8 - Havana
You spend the last day in the capital, discovering its historical wealth. On the program: guided tour of Old Havana then free time to stroll at your own pace.
This last day also marks the end of the stay. Transfer to the airport and flight back to Paris.

Villa Guajimico - Finca Maria Dolores
4 nights at Villa Guajimico
Located halfway between Cienfuegos and Trinidad, Villa Guajimico and its pool overlook the Caribbean Sea. You will stay in air-conditioned bungalows for 2 to 3 people with private bathroom (shower and sanitary facilities). To guarantee your double room, book the option.
2 nights at Villa Maria Dolores
Located 5 minutes from the center of Trinidad, in an old farm (finca) .You will be staying in air-conditioned bungalows for 2 to 3 people with private bathroom (shower and sanitary facilities), located around the pool.
One night in Havana.
The choice of the hotel is only final once the stay has begun in order to know exactly the number of rooms.

The tourist card is valid for 90 days. It is renewable once. This document is included in the UCPA air transport price and will be given to you with your plane ticket at the airport on the day of departure.
The visa will be issued by going through customs upon arrival in Havana by presenting the document provided. For people who do not fly with UCPA, it is up to you to get your tourist card yourself.
As of May 30, 2022, all passengers must complete an online form within 72 hours prior to arrival in Cuba. The form is in digital format, but printing it out can save time upon arrival. To access the form https://dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu/inicio
ATTENTION: to guarantee your departure, it is imperative to complete the “Travel Formalities (APIS)” form now on our site www.ucpa-vacances.com, under the heading “Prepare your departure - Transport information” (an essential formality for the airline, independent of the one mentioned above).
Any traveler who has stayed in Cuba is now subject to a visa to enter the United States, regardless of where they come from (Cuba or third countries).
Thus, travelers who have been to Cuba since January 12, 2021 and who wish to travel to the United States cannot benefit from the ESTA regime and must apply for a visa at an American consulate before undertaking a trip to the United States, even if they benefit from a previously approved ESTA, under penalty of having it canceled by border police officers (Customs and Border Protection) when entering American soil, or to be the subject of a decision to deny boarding.

Guajimico is located about 2.5 hours from Havana.
For interns who did not buy the UCPA flight:
- If you arrive at the same time as the UCPA flight, you can benefit, as far as seats are available, from the transfer organized by the UCPA. You must inform the center in advance (alcuba2014@gmail.com) and pay the amount of this transfer (about 70 euros one way) to our representative on site.
- If you come by yourself, a taxi between the airport and the UCPA hotel will cost you around 270 euros per trip.
- Another solution is to sleep in Havana and take the bus services the next morning (about 50 euros for a single trip).
