Day of arrival

D1- Welcome to the sports village from 5.30 pm
If you have chosen the UCPA transfer: Departure from the airport when the UCPA flights arrive, bus trip to Trois Rivières, boat to Les Saintes, dinner and night at the sports village.

During your stay

D2 to D6 - 5 windsurfing sessions supervised in half days.

Beginners, you discover windsurfing on very stable and maneuverable boards that allow you to reach the first edges as quickly as possible.

You learn to manage your balance on the board, to master your sail and to orient yourself in the navigation area. In a second step, you develop your mastery of maneuvers (U-turn), your navigation position and your sail settings.
Finally, depending on the conditions, you can discover the suspension and the start of harness navigation.

For more experienced snowboarders we will offer you a fun program based on personalized advice. You can choose your float and sail according to your objectives and the conditions of the moment.
You discover all the secrets for fun and efficient navigation: control of upwind, transitions, navigation on the schedule, feet in the foot straps, beach start, water start and jibe.

Supervised sessions alternate in the morning or in the afternoon.

All week during your free time, loan of snorkeling equipment.
Possibility of additional activities supervised by an instructor to be booked on site depending on availability: stand-up-paddle, kayak, windsurf, first dive, sailboat (between €30 and €40 except for day trips.)

Day 7 - Free day: Possibility of an option to discover Guadeloupe, Marie-Galante, a day ascent of La Soufrière, or a day of canyoning in the basement (available from 01/11/24) to be booked during your registration or on site depending on availability.

Guadeloupe Day: Early morning boat trip, visit the Basse-Terre market followed by a walk in the tropical forest to the Carbet Falls. Stop at the Longueteau rum factory, lunch and visit a banana farm.

Marie-Galante Day: A few miles from Les Saintes, between Grande-Terre de Guadeloupe and Dominica, Marie-Galante is one of the quietest islands in the Antilles. Few people, postcard-perfect beaches, a warm welcome and sugar cane crops with a few reference distilleries. Private boat trip (45 minutes), local guide, lunch included.

Guadeloupe Day: Ascension of La Soufrière
Supervision by a local guide (mid-mountain guide). Transfers and packed lunch included. Hike about 5 hours.

Canyoning day in Basse Terre: Departure in the early morning from Les Saintes to Trois-Rivières where the minivan awaits you to join your guide for the day at the Bassins Bleus car park. Start of the climb in the tropical forest then along Le Galion Rivière, a little over an hour, to arrive at the start of the canyoning descent. There start the 2 hours of descent into the scarlet water and the slides, 5 abseiling descents, 2 jumps all supervised by a guide who will not miss any opportunity to help you discover the local flora. On the way back, a picnic was taken out of the bag and then, depending on the time left, pass on a beach to Vieux Fort or Grand Anse de Trois-Rivières. Return with the 16:30 shuttle from Trois-Rivières to Terre de Haut. Equipment, suits, helmets, harnesses and anti-slip fangs are provided by the guide for the day.

Day 8 - free day, ideal to rest or discover the most beautiful beaches of the island.

D9 to D13 - Alternating supervised activities and free time. 3 water sports sessions (Beach-kayak, sailing, stand-up-paddle), 1 day discovering Terre-de-Bas, a stroll to discover the village and a camel hike during the Sunset.

Day Terre-de-Bas, the other island of the Saintes Archipel
Paradisical beaches, superb views/1h30 maximum of walking/Instructor supervision. Departure in the morning, crossing by boat to Terre-de-Bas, hiking circuit and minibuses around the most beautiful viewpoints of the Island between Grande Anse and Petite Anse in the morning. Lunch in a typical restaurant by the sea. Afternoon swimming and snorkeling, boat transfer and return to the center at the end of the day.

Half-day kayaking in the Bay of Saintes in the direction of Sugarloaf or Anse Mire. Introduction to mastering kayaking, paddle 1 hour max. Stop on a beach and snorkel to admire the superb underwater world full of fish and corals.

Half-day Stand-up-paddle in the Bay of Saintes.

Half-day sailing: Departure from the port of Les Saintes, learning and sailing around the islet in Cabrit and in the Bay of Saintes. The instructor will accompany you so that you can take control of the sailboat yourself.

Village discovery walk: explore the streets, and meet the local inhabitants.

Sunset Camel Hike: take advantage of the golden hour to gain height and see the colors of the setting sun reflected in the Bay of Saintes.

Day 14 - free day, it's the perfect time to take advantage of organized days to discover Marie Galante or Guadeloupe!

The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

Day 15 - Preparation for departure, check out. Early lunch for a departure from the sports village around 12:30. Night flight to Paris.

Translucent water and constant trade winds will offer you ideal sailing conditions. For windsurfers you will pull your edges in the direction of the Bay of Saintes! L'Îlet à Cabrit, your starting spot, uninhabited and wild, will offer you the perfect beach to learn windsurfing, perfect your waterstarts or to learn jibes. Wingfoil fans? Your starting spot, L'Îlet à Cabrit, will offer you the perfect departure from the beach for the gradual and personalized learning of wingfoil, mastering sailing and understanding the first flights on the foil of your board. The glide of the future under your feet!

Les Saintes sports village

The Saintes sports village overlooks Marigot Bay with direct access to the beach. It is a bungalow accommodation, the bar and the dining room have terraces overlooking the sea. Pompierre beach and the center of the village of Les Saintes are accessible in 15 minutes on foot.
