At the rhythm of your pack camels, set off on foot for a long crossing from east to west in the footsteps of the great caravans of times past, in the heart of the largest dune massif in Morocco.
From the very first steps of your trek, you will be immersed in the particular charm of these regions and the great mystery of the Sahara.

During your stay
Day 2: Draa Valley - Palm Grove of the Village of M'Hamid
In the morning, drive in the direction of M'Hamid down the beautiful Draa Valley, punctuated by palm groves, crops and villages, green ribbon in the middle of desert djebels.

(450km and 7h drive from Marrakech, 260km and 3h30 drive from Ouarzazate). In the afternoon, first stage, a 2-hour walk to reach the first dunes and set up our bivouac near the palm grove in the ancient village of M'Hamid. Night in a tent.
Day 3: Rass Enkhal - Rtimi
Wake up early to enjoy the fresh morning. After giving a hand to our camel drivers to load the camels and clean the place of the bivouac, departure southwest through small dunes dotted with acacias and tamarisks, to arrive in Rtimi near the dunes.
6 hours of walking. Night in a tent.
Days 4 and 5: Wadi El Attach and Chigaga Laabidlia Dunes
By taking the ancient tracks of merchant caravans across the Sahara, 2 days of immersion in the heart of a desert universe with multiple dunes by going up the course of the Oued Draa. Nights in bivouac in the dunes of Oued El Attach. Our progress is oriented west/north-west.
5 hours of walking per day. Nights in tents.
Day 6: Chigaga Dunes - Erg Eghoul
We continue our walk by progressing in the middle of the immensity of the Chigaga dunes in the direction of Grand Erg Eghoul, where we set up our bivouac in the dunes.
6 hours of walking. Night in a tent.
Day 7: The oasis of Foum Zquid - Tazenakht - Ouarzazate - Kasbah of Taourirt
Last stage of walking to the foot of a huge tabular plateau. 3 hours of walking. We meet the vehicles (4x4) there, last lunch with the camel drivers, then drive in the early afternoon to Ouarzazate via the oasis of Foum Zquid and Tazenakht (220km). In Ouarzazate, depending on the time available, free visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt, or last shopping in the souks. Free dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Moroccan qualified mountain guides, assisted by a team of camel drivers. Originally from the region, these camel drivers are used to assisting groups.
